Knapp-Carlsson, Sweden’s largest and best-stocked shop for sewing and decoration accessories

Knapp-Carlsson is located at Kyrkogatan 34 in central Gothenburg and was established in 1910 by Albert Carlsson. He named the shop Knapp-Carlsson. Knapp is the swedish word for ”button”.

Personal service is still done over the counter, and today’s customers have even more articles to choose among. Our staff is well trained, have great knowledge and are happy to give advice and make suggestions.

Here you will find zippers, dummies, wire, spring, shims, eyelets, snaps, tassels, buckles, needles, furniture and curtain accessories, buttons and much more. We can also help you with e.g. punching buttons and ordering name bands.
